What is goulash? I had to google it. Goulash is a traditional stewed dish served in Hungary. It is very similar to spaghetti. ☺ If you have kids, they will love it! Growing up as a kid, Luis often ate “American Chop Suey.” I was not familiar with this recipe nor had I ever eaten Goulash. But, I have seen so many people talking about and searching for goulash lately that I thought we should give it a try. Luis was thrilled and immediately went back to the good memories of his childhood eating “American Chop Suey.” In all honesty, I don’t know what the difference is between that and goulash, if any. Luis made this dish all on his own and even added in some of his favorite ingredients- including the green peppers.

Notes
Tips for this recipe:1. Use beef broth! So many recipes call for water. The beef broth adds a robust flavor that you just could not get with water!2. Use the macaroni that has the ridges in it. It will help the noodle hold on to the sauce.3. To make this recipe even easier, you can substitute everything except the ground beef, beef broth, noodles and green peppers for a jar of your favorite pasta sauce!4. Add in shredded mozzarella cheese when you take the Instant Pot lid off. You will end up with a delicious cheesy goodness! You wont regret it!
