Pour the unsweetened almond milk, apple sauce, protein powder, sugar substitute, kool-aid mix, cinnamon, and guar gum into a small blender and blend until all ingredients are fully combined. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container.
Freeze on a level surface for 24 hours. Your freezer should be between 9 and -7 degrees Fahrenheit. To avoid getting a bump on the top of the frozen mixture, freeze with the lid off of the container.
Process the Ice Cream
After 24 hours, remove the pint container from the freezer.
Place the pint container into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami and then process on "LITE ICE CREAM."
If the ice cream is dry or crumbly looking (like sand), pour in a tablespoon or two of unsweetened almond milk and then re-spin. If the ice cream looks like little balls of ice cream, respin without adding liquid. You may have to repeat this process a couple of times.
Remove the pint from the machine and enjoy!

Notes
Can you taste the applesauce in the ice cream? You can! But, surprisingly, the applesauce alone does not provide an intense apple flavor. Instead, it's pretty mellow. So, adding the green apple Kool-aid powder to the base recipe helps kick up the apple flavor a bit more! Why is there cinnamon in this recipe?A lot of applesauce has cinnamon in it. Adding the extra cinnamon to the recipe helps bring out the applesauce flavors. Don't add too much though. A little cinnamon goes a long way! If you add too much, the cinnamon will overpower the apple flavors. There's only ⅛ teaspoon of guar gum in the recipe. Do I really need to add that small amount of it?The applesauce helps add a nice texture, but it still needs a very small amount of guar gum to help create a thick and creamy ice cream. Without the guar gum, the ice cream will be a thinner consistency, softer, and not as creamy.
