Prepare all fruit by washing and cutting them as needed.
Start with a 20x15 cutting board and create the outline of the bunny's head using the cut-up pieces of pineapple. Try to use a single row of pineapple to create the outline.
Fill in the bunny ears with slices of kiwi. The kiwi should go all the way to the edges and touch the pineapple pieces.
Top the kiwi with pieces of strawberry.
Fill in the bunny's head with the remaining pineapple chunks.
Move the pineapple around to make eye holes and fill the eye holes with blueberries.
Make the bunny's nose by placing a whole strawberry (remove the stem) pointing upwards in the middle of the bunny's face.
Fill the bottom of the board with raspberries.
Fill the rest of the board with blueberries. If your board has a juice groove, create a border by filling the juice groove with blueberries. This will help all of the fruit stay in place.
Create whiskers and teeth by thinly slicing white American cheese. Cut the whiskers and the teeth about ½ inch thick.
Serve and enjoy! Your guests will be so impressed!

Is it cheaper to buy or make a fruit tray?If you are making a large fruit tray, it is usually cheaper to make your own fruit tray. If you are making a very small fruit tray, it may be cheaper to buy one in the store. The reason that a large fruit tray is cheaper to make is that you can buy larger quantities of fruit that would be used in the tray. You cannot usually buy 3 strawberries or just half of a pineapple. If you are making a very small fruit tray, you will likely still need to buy full quantities of the fruit, which makes it more expensive than buying a small store-made tray. What should I put in a fruit tray?Use the fruit that you will eat. Using your favorite fruits will reduce the amount of waste. Just because pineapples are the right color and look nice in the fruit tray, does not mean you should use them if you don't like pineapple. Instead, pick another fruit that you will eat that is similar in color or shape (depending on what kind of tray you are making). Use canteloupe melon instead of oranges or use watermelon instead of strawberries. There are endless options for switching up the fruit in a fruit tray!
