Mix the first four ingredients together in a bowl with a whisk until fully combined and the mix has started to thicken a bit.
Pour into Ninja Creami pint container and freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours.
Put into Ninja Creami and process on the Ice Cream setting.
Remove pint from the machine and clear a hole to the bottom of the ice cream in the container.
Add the cherries and put the pint back into the Creami.
Process using the mix-ins process.

Notes
I add a small amount of alcohol to all of my mixes because it keeps the ice cream just above the soft serve stage even after putting back in the freezer.
