Push the PREHEAT button.
Once the grill has finished preheating and says ADD FOOD spray it with non-aerosol Avocado oil.
Add the peppers and extra butter mixture to the grill and close the lid.
Flip the peppers after about 5 minutes. Continue to flip every couple of minutes until the peppers have reached your preferred doneness.

Notes
How do you cut bell peppers for the grill?Wash the peppers and then cut off the stems. Do so by cutting into the top of the pepper in a circle around the stem. Discard the stem. Cut a slit down all the way down the side of the pepper.Pull the inner section with the seeds out of the pepper. This inner portion should detach from the outside of the pepper fairly easily. Discard seeds and inner section. Lay the pepper flat on a cutting board (you may have to open the pepper up a bit more to do so), with the outside of the pepper facing the cutting board.Using a sharp knife, cut ½ inch thick strips from the top to the bottom of the pepper. You should end up with pretty evenly sized ½ thick slices of pepper. What's the difference between the different colors of bell peppers. If you allow a green pepper to continue to ripe, it will turn yellow and then orange and then red. While this will happen naturally on its own, some peppers are grown to be a certain color. Green peppers have a more bitter flavor. Yellow peppers are sweeter than green. Orange is sweeter than yellow. And red is the sweetest of them all.
