Caramel Apple Monkey Bread- Ninja Foodi Recipe

Oh my goodness!!!  Caramel apple monkey bread-Ninja Foodi recipe is the best weekend breakfast that I have ever made in my Ninja Foodi!  The combination of the cinnamon rolls, apples, nuts and icing creates an amazing delicious, gooey breakfast that your family is sure to love!  Or, if your family is like mine…..the leftovers also turn into lunch and dessert!  :)

One of the great things about this recipe is that it uses canned cinnamon rolls!  How easy is that?  We almost always have a can or two in the refrigerator!  Once you try this recipe, you’ll want to keep a couple of cans stocked in your refrigerator too….just in case you get the craving for monkey bread!  :)

For this recipe, I used apples because they are in season right now and we always have a couple of apples in the house.  But, you could switch it up and make this recipe with your favorite fruit.  I think next time I might try it with peaches or maybe even bananas!  Yummmm!!!  

Tips for making Caramel Apple Monkey Bread- Ninja Foodi Recipe:

  1. Be sure to mix the cut up cinnamon rolls with the other ingredients pretty well.  If you don’t you will end up with clumps of cooked cinnamon rolls instead of ooey gooey monkey bread.
  2. Do yourself a favor and add the walnuts and pecans.  I threw them in on a whim and was so happy that I did!  They really added a nice touch.  The deep flavor and crunch were great in contrast to the sweet and soft cinnamon rolls and apples.  
  3. When you take the monkey bread out of the Ninja Foodi, let it cool for about 5-10 minutes.  Why?  If you don’t it may not set-up as well and instead of having monkey bread, you’ll end up with a pile of monkey nuggets lol.  

 

How to make Caramel Apple Monkey Bread in the Ninja Foodi:

  1. Cut canned cinnamon rolls into 8 pieces each.
  2. Combine, in a bowl, the cinnamon rolls, sugar, pecans, walnuts, Heath chips and apples.
  3. Mix all ingredients until biscuits are evenly coated.  You will want to make sure that the biscuit pieces are separated from each other and not clumped together.
  4. Spray mini bundt pan with non stick cooking spray.
  5. Fill the mini bundt pan with biscuit mixture and press down until all of the mixture fits in the pan.
  6. Pour 1 cup of water into Ninja Foodi.
  7. Place mini bundt pan into Ninja Foodi using a sling or place on trivet.
  8. Close “pressure cooking” lid and move valve to “seal” position.
  9. Turn Ninja Foodi “on.”
  10. Choose the “pressure cooking” setting and set time to 18 minutes.
  11. Push “start.”
  12. Once timer beeps, natural release pressure for 4 minutes and quick release remaining pressure.
  13. Open Ninja Foodi lid.
  14. Remove mini bundt pan from Ninja Foodi and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
  15. Once cooled, flip bundt pan onto a serving plate and lift bundt pan away from the monkey bread.
  16. Mix melted butter and brown sugar together and pour over Caramel Apple Monkey Bread.
  17. Drizzle canned frosting over monkey bread.
  18. Serve and enjoy!

  1. I don’t have the bundt pan yet, could I use another pan, like a small cake pan? Thought I would cut the recipe in half, seems like too much for me alone.
