For years I have always bought those little packets of chili seasoning from the grocery store. The other day I was making chili and realized…oh no….I don’t have any chili seasoning! Instead of panicking, I looked in the cabinet and realized that I had ALL of the ingredients that come in those little packets. Why haven’t I been making my own chili seasoning all this time?? It was so incredibly easy to make. I couldn’t believe it. One of the best parts about this recipe is that you can make it in bulk and save it in an airtight container for the next time that you make chili. This is a money saving, quick and easy recipe for all of your future chili needs! I can’t wait to dive in and see what other spice mixes I can come up with!

it’s OK. my recipe is similar, but I add a couple of other ingredients. I usually leave out any kind of “hot” chili peppers…. So while mine is milder, it still has a bold flavor that I desire.
my Garahm Massala recipe is similar but with a few other herbs and spices.
