What to do if the Ninja Creami paddle won’t stay in the lid...

This is one of the most common troubleshooting issues with the Ninja Creami.

Sometimes the paddle will disconnect from the lid, before you even start to process the ice cream. This can happen when you try to clip the paddle into the lid or when you put the outer bowl with the lid on it into the machine.

Reasons why this may happen…

There are various reasons that this can happen, none that have been confirmed by the manufacturer.

The lid and paddle are not assembled correctly.
The part of the lid that opens and closes to grab onto the shaft of the paddle is damaged, missing pieces, or is dirty.
There is an issue with the magnetic part of the spindle and paddle, causing the paddle to drop when the bowl with the lid and paddle are inserted into the machine.
The lid is broken or defective and is no longer operating as it should.
Using generic or knock-off accessories like paddles or containers can cause the machine to malfunction if the accessory is not a perfect fit.

How to resolve the issue…

Review the manual to make sure that you have assembled everything correctly.
Use Ninja-branded accessories like paddles and containers instead of generic or knockoffs.
