I like keeping a few Ninja Creami recipes in my back pocket that don’t need a long grocery list, and this collection is exactly that. Sometimes the simplest base ends up being the one I make the most.

Four of the nine recipes here are straightforward fruit sorbets, including Pineapple Sorbet, Peach Sorbet, and Mango Sorbet, each built around a single frozen fruit and nothing more. A fourth sorbet rounds out the group with the same simple approach, proving that a short ingredient list doesn’t mean short on flavor.
Strawberry Frozen Yogurt and the plain Frozen Yogurt recipe both use the same base technique, just with or without fruit mixed in before processing, and Peaches and Cream Ice Cream takes a similar approach but swaps in a creamier base for a richer result. Banana Chocolate Chip Lite Ice Cream keeps things light while still adding texture from the chocolate chips, and Italian Ice brings a completely different, icier texture to the mix.
Top Tips
- Freeze the container flat. Freeze the container on a level shelf in the freezer so the base spins evenly instead of trying to process on an angle.
- Give it the full freeze time. Most recipes need a full 24 hours in the freezer, and pulling it out early can mess with the texture of the ice cream. It may look frozen, but it needs to be completely frozen solid throughout.
- Re-spin if it looks crumbly. If the mixture looks dry or sandy after the first spin, add a splash of liquid and run it again for a smoother texture.
